.With continued advances in video technology and the need for instant access to manage urgent non-traumatic health conditions, telehealth is a great modality for healthcare access. It allows for faster attention to health questions, eases access for the consumer, and improves the client-provider relationship. A face-to-face visit can be followed by a telehealth encounter and vice versa. A telehealth encounter is not as logistically taxing for the provider or the client and therefore is a cost-effective tool for continued health maintenance and management.
